In Oak and Ash Classes the children have begun a Change for Life Club.
The children will walk, run and jog around the playground (or in the hall if it's wet) for as many laps as they can for 5 minutes. The aim is to improve their health and fitness. They will try and gradually increase their lap scores each day. The children know that this is not a competition between each other, it is a way to help their own fitness improve.
We will be doing this daily for the rest of the term and then ask Key Stage 2 if they would like to.
